In response to Maggie’s post...

Do you think our generations and younger generations rely too much on technology?

I definitely think that our generation and younger generations do rely too much on technology. Everyone I know my age most likely has a smart phone that does about anything from texting to going on the internet to listening to music and even more. Having this technology changes the was our generation socially interact with one another. Older generations never had all this technology that we and our younger generations grew up with using. I know my mom hardly can work the house phone, and know has a smart phone and I’m still trying to teach her how to text. I think that younger and younger generations are going to have so much technology that they grow up with that it might ruin personal communication and relationships for them because there will be less face to face interaction with friends and family and will all be done through technology instead. Can you think of any positives that could come from younger generations using too much technology?
